Las Vegas is known for many things; the unforgiving desert heat, Caesar's Palace, the Sin City moniker that is both wildly intriguing and off-putting. But when our head honchos Hugh and Mark penned Las Vegas down in their itinerary as the last stop of their American sabbatical, it wasn't the archetypal attractions of Las Vegas that they were drawn to. Rather, it was a completely different Agenda - the trade show, that is.
Held during Las Vegas Market Week - the Holy Grail of fashion events -, Agenda has gained reputation for being a platform on which brands transcend anonymity. Where the 10,000 buyers gather to scour brands for the select few that beats the rest, exhibitors also get insights on unorthodox marketing strategies and an invaluable opportunity to make an impression on key influencers. Unsurprisingly, it was during Agenda in February that Hugh and Mark crossed paths with key streetwear personalities like Benny Gold and Bobby Hundreds whose brands make up part of the Major Drop arsenal.
The next one happens this August and with possibilities being the commodity here, we won't be counting any out.
